DN: Hi Dick. DV: So your from Germany, tell me about your family and your child hood
DN: Well my dad played Handball and my mom was also played in the WNBA and my sister was a track star but soon developed her skills in basketball and joined the WNBA. DV: Wow!!!! you came from a All-American family. Aka Primtime.
DN: Ha HA yea well back in germany we all needed somthing to do. DV: I know what you mean. So about your child hood?
DN: OH yea of course back when i was a boy i was a overly tall. They called me "the freak." DV: Come on Dirk your huge of course your going to be tall. Tell me the juicey stuff hahh.
DN: Ok ok well i never really played ball when i was younger but i got tired of them calling me a freak so i put my size to use and played basketball. DV: Now were getting to the big stuff tell me more babey!!!!!!
DN: And when seasons passed my coach so impressed with my skill so he asked me " Do you want to play the best in the world or stay in the town and be the germany hero"? And we all know what i did i went to the pro's. DV: Yes we know that and now your a ptp a primtime player in the world wide basketball league. But your still skipping the point. Im here to find out about how you were in school and out side of school.w what was up...you know. DV: I understand how it is back in my day wich was 800 years ago....
DN: hahahahhahah your not that old dick. DV: Haaha thanks Dirk but anyways like i was saying i kinda struggled
DN: Oh well in the early years in high school my grades were droping and i just didn't kno in school but i got my act together and hit those books so i can be the best i can be.
DN: yea and then i did the same thing you did i pulled it off in school and now im a 7' 0 ft., 245 pound, Power forward for the Dallas mavs making $18,077,904[1] dollars. DV: Wow tiger you jumped to the future..Lets go to the past when you first got drafted
DN: I was first drafted to the bucks but got traded immeditly. DV: Why do you think you got traded so fast? DN: because i was a unknown athlete from germany and i was a late blumming flower DV: But now you are a flower any team would want is that not right
DN: No that is right {laughs} DV:ha ha but now you are one of the best players on your team
DN: i would not say the best but i am good DV: i bet the bucks want u to play for Milwaukee again
DN: i dont no they have Micheal Redd he is good to DV: dirk after this year you are a free agent were do you think you will end up or you want to end up
DN: well i hope to resign with the mavricks if not it was my dream as a kid to play with SHAQ, or and play with steve nash a good friend of mine so if the mavricks dont resign me mabye play with the Phoinx Suns that would be cool DV:well u no i have a house in Phenoix mabye we would hang out if u go to Phenoix

DN: Well dick it is the best feeling in the world i wish we could go back in time and redo the 2006 NBA finals DV: i would say that was the best finals of NBA history just the way the heat came back from a 2-0 defisit
DN: ya i think the Miami Heat played great but they have our ring it just stinks that we made it so far and for nothing DV: what would you do differently if u could go back in time
DN: i would have stepped up ans said double team WADE just because he scored what 33.8 points and 9.1 assist DV: actually i think it was 35.8 points a game, BUT now he is one of the best in the NBA today
DN: ya i got to say D-WADE is one of the best today DV: well now lets focus on this year so far Dallas is just barely in a play off spot
DN:ya it has been a tough year i lost my friend Devin Harris but i need to step up DV: if you finish the year of strong you will get to the playoffs for sure
DN: i hope so DV: now lets focus on you this year you average 26.4 points a game that is your carrier high and you also average 8 rebounds per game that is killer BABEY!!!!!!
